Chasing-Repousse or hand engraving on metal is an old art in Iran. the patterns are mostly flowers and plants and the more delicate the work is done, more valuable is the item.
Mr. Razi's first job is in technical field. However, he does repousse and chasing in his small workshop in the city of Mashhad. Traditional arts have always been passed on from one generation to the next.
Mr. Razi’s son has chosen repousse and chasing as his profession and presents his works in bazaar.
